A Generic Experience
I have never liked Cheerleaders, going back a couple decades, and in fact in the last decade I've only been there one time and that one time was to see a specific dancer who had started dancing there after dancing at the 19th Hole. We lost touch but recently I texted her and she responded--setting a dancer record for longest time with same phone number lol. And she was still dancing occasionally at Cheerleaders. In the past, Cheerleaders main attraction has been a pretty good selection of young, attractive dancers. There's a big parking lot which tends to get full after 11pm but when I arrived at 7:30pm there was plenty of parking and I walked over the well-lit lot and in, paid a $10 cover and went through security.
The club layout is a huge rectangular room with a long rectangular bar and a long, narrow stage running the length of the bar inside it. There are also a couple of other smaller stages with poles in a couple locations elsewhere in the room but at this hour--which was not prime time at all--they were unoccupied. The place is so huge that the thirty or so customers around the bar --many with a dancer sitting next to them, chatting--couldn't keep the place from seeming empty. Last time I was here after 10pm on a Friday it was absolutely jammed and there was a raucous party atmosphere. This night, early evening when I came in there were two dancers onstage, decent-looking but nothing special. I ordered a Heineken ($7 I think) and waited for my friend to come out.
At last she came out, pretty, tall (in heels at least; I think her barefoot height is about 5'7") on the slender side but with shape. We reconnected, warm embrace, exuberant greetings, etc and had a nice catch-up conversation. I noted the dancers coming up onstage--mostly white with some Latina--looked a little older than I remember Cheerleaders dancers in the past; they also looked a little worn, with many sporting multiple tattoos. Aside from my friend, there was no one I'd rate above a 7...but none below a 5.
After a while, my friend asked if I wanted a private dance and I, wanting to see what the higher-end experience was like and knowing she deserved some payoff for her extended company, opted for the backroom area where 15 minutes goes for $175--which is on the high side. We went back there, I pre-paid the 15 minutes to a woman at a desk back there and my friend led me back to some cubicles which had translucent curtains at their entrance. We entered one, she took off her top and began a decent grind, roaming allowed. At one point, she pulled down her bottom for a view of the kitty...then said "I can make you come", if only I would spring for another 15 minutes. Her hustled was a little more overt and relentless than it had been in the past and was a bit of a turn-off. So I opted not to go for another round. I tipped her $20 and we walked out together, with promises to stay in touch.
It probably isn't fair to judge a place at one of the two deadest times of day for any club but nothing in the experience made me want to go back. My only reason to go back would be that one dancer. So I would say Cheerleaders hasn't changed much, just a little more expensive and a little decline in dancer quality. All in all, a generic experience.
