It's really still open!

I have seen Sophie's on this site before but there have not been any reviews for several years. I checked other sites on the internet, several of which indicated that Sophie's was no longer in business. Nonetheless, I found myself in the Bloomsburg area a few nights ago and figured I would drive by and see for myself.

As many of the other reviews indicate, the bar itself is fairly run down. Inside there are some uncomfortable chairs around a small stage, and a few tables away from the stage, but most of the action seems to be at the bar where the girls hang out and drink (fairly heavily) with what appear to be regulars.

There were 3 girls that night, ranging from over the hill, to chubby, to actually fairly hot. The dancers all worked fairly hard, but there seemed to be a bit of drama between them. I stayed for a few sets and a one song lap dance. The lap dance was $22 (that's "$20 + $1 per tit" as I was told). For the lap dance we went behind a 6' high partition into what could best be described as a storage area. There was a couch and a few "comfortable" chairs, but all were broken badly. The lap dance took place on a metal dining chair with a vinyl cushion. The dance itself had very little contact and bordered on boring."
