Better than Expected

I stopped by a few weeks ago fully expecting to nail the coffin shut so that I would cross this club off my list. I was pleasantly surprised.

The owners are making small changes in an attempt to add class. They still have a long way to go. The new ceiling lights that look like torches (with fake fabric flames) are a good try, but they only add a cheesy 1970s vibe. Since I like dives, though, it was an amusing touch.

The handful of women working were in their late 20s or very early thirties, I would guess, except for one that looked quite young. All were fairly fit and nice GND types, if you lived in a diverse neighborhood. The dancers at the pole varied in effort and interaction at the rack. Most offered private dances and took rejection well. In the end I ended up with a dance with Gianna (AA) that was fun enough to stretch into two dances. So, the club remains on my list primarily for the touchy dances (compared to other clubs in my limited experience). The dance area is not very private but I have never seen patrons or staff looking in in an intrusive manner. I have not tried the more private booth near the bar that is used for longer VIP dances.
