Still Worth a Visit

Show Palace was my first full nude strip club 13 years ago, and originally it blew my mind. I've been back several times over the years chasing that original "high" but usually leaving feeling a little taken. It has had it's ups and downs, but I decided to give it another shot with a buddy who was visiting for the holidays. He's going through a divorce, and we wanted a place we could kick back for several hours, drink beers, and enjoy a few dances.

We got there super early before the parking attendant, so we slipped by the parking fee and got a spot right up close to the back of the building which made me feel a little safer about my car. Inside, it was practically empty, but the girls were already putting on a good show. The music was a bit too loud, as it is at most of these places, but we grabbed a table right up next to the stage and immediately got the attention of all the performers.

My friend was really impressed with the quality of their appearance... seemed solidly average to me, but I think he was really just excited to see something "new." It kind of reminded my of the first time I visited all those years ago, which I think that boosted my enjoyment considerably too. I would say the mix of ethnicities was about 50% white, 30% latina, and 20% black. Anyway, the girls weren't pushy even though even though we were the only waving cash that early in the evening. For example, after a dance, they didn't try to "trick" you into paying for more unless you asked. A couple of them did request our phone numbers which was a bit strange. It seemed like maybe they were being pressured to do it by management... no way were going to fall for that though, are you kidding?
