What was I thinking...

A friend wanted to meet me at there one day just after Xmas-- he was getting off work early. I walked in between 3-4 in the afternoon. The place was dead, only about 3-4 customers-- and one woman on stage. Ugly is the first word that comes to mind.

The friend hadn't showed yet, so I grabbed a beer-- the highlight of my visit. $3 for a domestic, I think. I waited for about a half hour. Saw maybe five other dancers during that time. Most focused on their regulars, a couple got up on stage and went through the motions.

I didn't see a single dancer who was appealing, at least to my taste. To each his own... Most were too heavy, too "tough," not my type. I found one or two more to my liking on prior visits, but hadn't been in for a year or so. Has definitely gone downhill, based on this limited sample.
