Great Little Club in Western MA

For a small out-of-the-way club, the Lantern tends to attract a steady crop of gorgeous dancers, most of whom are very friendly and not overly-pushy when it comes to hustling for private dances. You also never encounter pimps or any seriously bad element here. I think I've seen two or three actual fights in the past couple years and I go an average of 2-3 times a month. Very little drama and always lots of fun and with just a $3 cover ($5 on amateur night) how can you go wrong? Drinks average about $6.50 and this is a late night club. Things heat up around 10:00 on Friday and Saturday and stay busy until closing at 1:00 AM.

They also do a monthly Wednesday night amateur night with some great local and out-of-town talent and they pull in as many "Lantern All-Stars" as possible to create some energy in-between competitive rounds. They do giveaways that range from free cover passes (they say "VIP Pass" but they aren't good for the VIP room - just a heads up) to t-shirts and sometimes (less often lately) free or 2-for-1 lap dances on amateur night.

Finally, you'll love the bartenders here. They're all really cool and super-attentive and the drinks are consistent quality no matter who's pouring. They tend to burn through shot girls fairly quickly but the ones they get know how to administer a shot. Just sayin'...
