Club is OK, some of the dancers are fantastic.

I'm a woman, I went to the club with a male friend and a female friend on the spur of the moment after dinner at the Riemann. We had a great time. Some of the dancers are incredibly talented and strong/athletic (gravity-defying pole moves), and the dancing wasn't just desultory shimmying but really fun to watch, kind of like a bush league Cirque de Soleil (pun intended). The DJ was corny as HELL, talking about stuff between songs and doing really loopy Soul Train-esque introductions to the dancers. Lapdances are private, I don't know what those are like for men but the two women in my group both got lapdances and we both thought that was a lot of fun, sort of a sexy slumber-party vibe. My lapdance was from "Violet" - a super sweet, petite, lovely girl with a charming personality. The night we were there, the dancers were almost all really lovely (only one exception and she was such an amazing dancer that you weren't looking at her face anyway) and of all types and ethnicities and body types - I seriously think the only ethnicities that weren't represented were Middle Eastern and East Indian. There were slim girls, curvy girls, petite girls, and a couple of girls who were so tall and strong and fierce looking that I was surprised NONE of them were using "Xena" as a stage name. It's bottomless (one Asian woman with really long hair literally crabwalked her chocha right at us, I felt like I was trapped in a gynecologist's worst nightmare) so no booze, but you can drink next door and come and go on shot breaks. There's a super shady bookstore upstairs which is apparently a place where suburban kinksters get up to shenanigans with each other's wives, so be careful about what you end up walking into when you go to use the bathroom, and it probably wouldn't be a terrible idea to go with a friend or at least some mace in your hand in case someone gets the wrong idea about what a solo woman might be doing up there. Overall I'd definitely recommend it, the dancers are sweet and friendly girls and the talent on display is considerable.
