This will be my first review for Safari since becoming a Tuscl member! There was a time back in the day that this was one of my most visited clubs from bout 2005-2010 but i have not been here in bout 5 years or so thinking it would be a good idea to check it out after reading some semi decent reviews for this place! Some of you local Portlanders may remember when this place used to be called Doc's back in the day till they remodeled mid 2000's and changed the name to Safari! I went with couple of buddies of mine and we arrived there around 10pm on a Friday evening the parking lot seemed to be pretty dead for a Friday night so i was not expecting much going in really! Not sure if there was a cover at the door if there was it was minimal maybe 5 dollars at most! Upon entering the place still appears to be in decent shape as it was back in the day and it appeared that the lap dance area has been vastly improved with some more privacy and one of the main stages looked to be remodeled to be slightly bigger than i remember it from before? But unfortunately these were the highlights of the night! As far as dancer quality seemed to go way downhill since mid 2000's when it was at its peak! The dancers were mostly average 5-6 range with the vast majority of the dancers being White although i spotted bout 5-6 Black dancers there this night as well! I was really wanting to get some dances after seeing the new lap dance area so i picked the best girl there that night maybe a 6.75-7 at best a white girl with amazing tits and decent body! I ended up doing a couple of 20 dances with her and the mileage was pretty good but not the best i have had for a Portland club for sure! All in all not a bad night we were there bout and hour then left not sure if i will return for a long time but was nice to check an old favorite club out to see how things have changed!
