What's in a name?

Wandered by during a search for street food and respite from my mongering. The guy in front grabbed my arm and said, "Playboy club. THE playboy." As though there was some brand affiliation that i should be drawn by. I've been in China and seen a store called Playboy, it even had the bunny logo. It sold socks and linens. This was more in line with what a business named Playboy should be selling. However, none of these ladies belong in playboy. Even if there was a more budget, third world, dirty variation of Playboy, these girls wouldn't cut it.

Small venue, dimly lit (one of the thing hong kong does right is that it's well lit, some many clubs even stateside could learn from), smokey, meh. 20 ft in, i caught a wiff of stale vomit. I was perplexed as to why there were even customers here when cheap booze (Tropical or Chavelas) , hotter women (hk), or cleaner tables (almost everywhere else) exist. Didn't even buy a pity beer. Moved on without sitting down.
