The customers drag this spot down

I came in some time between ten and midnight on a Friday and at first glance the club was busy. Lots of people at the bar, about a third of the seats at the rail taken, all of the tables had people. I could only find a spot in the back and I was rarely visited by dancers. A couple came by just as i sat down but I'd just gotten there, I wasn't interested in going in the back.

All the dancers were great. Both on the pole and in appearance. The trouble was, none seemed to be in the mood to do anything. After looking a bit, guys at the rail were being stingy. People at the bar were not watching, and I realized that none of the dancers were interested because none of the customers were interested.

Then suddenly around 10:30 maybe 10:45, as I was talking to a dancer who came by, we both realized the club had mostly emptied. Instead of being busy, there were maybe 6-7 other customers in there. No idea what happened but all the dullards suddenly got up and left. Since I was already talking to someone, and she was gorgeous, we went back for private dances which were astounding.
