A fun way to spend a Friday afternoon

Visiting with a friend from out of town and really just dropped in for a drink. Cover was only $5 at this time of day and the drinks weren't very expensive and were strong. The bartender was friendly but it was pretty slow in there. We just sat at the bar and my friend was approached by a cute girl and they talked while I drank. Eventually they went for a dance and I moved to a table. Of the course of the next several hours I talked with quite a few girls, all of whom were happy to sit on my lap and chat with me. I never did get a dance and I don't think anyone even ever asked for one. Girls seemed happy to just sit and chat. All I all it was a great experience.
