Trap Lounge - An adventure

The Trap lounge is located in Miami and has been there for generations. In all of the years that I have been going there - it has changed very little. Normally, no cover charge and beer prices are reasonable. One main dance floor and one side VIP/Dance room. On any given day you will find the largest AA women stripping at the Trap. Most in their late twenties to early thirties and most would not be hired in other strip clubs. Not the B team of dancers but more the C team. The physical club itself is barely tolerable. They recently closed for supposed renovations - I do not see any improvements - in fact on the night i was there it was a little warm in the club - ac either not working or they had it off because it was a little cool on this night. So why go to the trap? Well most of the girls have huge asses and yes that is why Big papi can't resist the place from time to time - I do suspect that even for him - these girls are a bit too huge for him. You normally can find at least one and usually two girls that you would like to have dances with. The grind is almost always good and touching is rarely discouraged. It is not likely that you will fall in love with any girls at the Trap - just not that kind of crew. You spend money in this club - for a moment you are the king as most of the customers just tip occasionally. I had great dances with two AA girls and they were great fun. In a normal club they would not have been my choice but sometimes it is okay to step down a little to a nice girl with a good attitude. One big positive to this club is dance length - they are now strictly juke box songs - so cut songs were not an issue and no annoying DJ. One part of the club that really bothers me is that they charge the dancers a tip out and also take $3 for every dance on the floor. So the dancer gets $7 out of every $10 to keep and the rest goes to the house. They are right on top of how many dances and retrieve their money from the girls immediately which seems excessive to me. These girls do not have any choice as this is the only club in Miami that would hire them. Should the Trap be on the top of your list when visiting Florida? No - definitely not - but if you can handle some huge girls that are for the most part friendly and accommodating - it is worth a once a year visit on your club rotation. Will I back real soon? - nah not likely but I can't seem to keep myself from hitting it every once in a while. After all - what is life without a little variety??
