Just got back from CL -...

Just got back from CL - drove up to Sac from the Bay Area to check out the clubs. Actually I only made it to this one, which is just as well since I already hit up that $3 a pop ATM machine too many times to subsidize more lap dances. I had a very good time at this place. The girls were good looking and mostly nice/mostly pretty real. I was a pushover for more lap dances, but here's the thing: the dances were GOOD! I've been to several clubs in the last ~18 months (ok, so I don't go enough to be a real afficianado, but I've got around a bit...) and I've only found a few that offer a real LAP DANCE, meaning a nice-looking young lady puts her fine, mostly naked ass down on your lap and does a real bump-n-grind on you. That is DEFINITELY on the menu at this club, and it was much appreciated!

And now a word about glitter: Rayna (sic??), baby, the glitter looks fantastic on you, but it looks really bad on me! I kept my sense of humor about it, especially after a few of the girls looked at me and said, "Um, you don't have, like, wife or a fiancée, do you? You're totally covered in glitter!". It is true, I don't have an SO to give me the 20-questions treatment about it, but some of your patrons DO have a potential inquisition waiting for them at home, and all that glitter could have a really disasterous effect on someone's relationship. True, they were the ones who brought themselves into the club, but have a heart for us guys. I do, by the way, live with other people, and I have a boss whom I don't care to have to explain to why I'm all fucking sparkly. That shit has been really hard to get off, and I still have a lot of it glinting in my beard. If this mild, constructive criticism ever makes it to you I know you'll take it in stride...you're a seasoned professional and really good at what you do. Speaking of which, my lap dance with you was exceptional, and the application of all that glitter stuff with those REALLY NICE TITS was totally fun!

OK, where was I...oh yeah, the club: OK...$5 to get in, mandatory $9 bottomless, non-alcoholic drink (the place is totally non-alcoholic - to the point where one dancer recommended - kidding, I'm sure - that it would be nice if I smuggled some booze in...). I showed up at about 5:00 PM on a Saturday on a holiday weekend...it was slow, which had advantages and disadvantages... there was no problem getting attention from girls, but it leaves you as being one of the two or three dudes supplying money to the place, so the pressure is on. Things started picking up around 7:00 or 7:30, which made it a little more comfortable. I asked a host/bouncer/whatever-the-fuck-he-was what he expected the evening to be like, and he said it would be so crowded that if you got up you'd lose your seat...nice story, but I didn't stick around late enough to find out.
