I was looking for a divey place to pop into for a short visit and figured the Riverhead seemed to fit the bill. Didn't stay for long. Physically the place isn't bad. The main bar area is about 20' wide x 60' long. It's set up like a neighborhood bar, bar to your left as you enter, stage just behind that. A pole at either end. 2 Eastern Europeans and one black woman walked lazily around the poles for three songs. The first song in full bikini, stepped down for tips, the next sometimes topless, sometimes not, depending on the girl. The black woman had a nice body if you like a booty, one of the eastern europeans had a similar figure, one was a rail. All seemed terribly bored. Given that there were all of three customer I can't really blame them. Finished my one beer, and took off. It was way too dead to comfortably hang around for more than that. A better crowd and maybe this could be a decent place. Maybe location, location, location?
