This is the third club of the flashdancers chain and the smallest of the three clubs. I went here one Friday night out of curiosity because I had been to their other two clubs. It's really dark inside and the layout of the club is a little odd. I got lost coming back from the bathroom, it's almost maze like in a weird way. The girls here aren't as hot as at their other clubs... I think because of its location, it's not a big money spot for a dancer. One beautiful Eastern European girl informed me that the girls who work at flashdancers are required to work at Private Eyes at least once a week, or New York dolls. I think the few hotties I saw (2/20?) were probably flashdancers girls regularly. The club is small, one floor, has a small stage with poles (that spin) and a low ceiling. There were two-three girls on stage for every set, and some of the girls actually seemed enthusiastic and happy to be up there compared to what I've witnessed at many other Manhattan establishments. The seating is a little odd- rows of chairs facing the stage, almost auditorium like- not my thing. The bouncers and non-dancer employees that I encountered were friendly for the most part. I think that this place is a bit cheaper than their other clubs drink wise and VIP room wise. I was asked to go to VIP with the hot blonde European girl- she gave a high contact lap dance and I was intrigued, but declined. Ricks is still my favorite club in the city and this place doesn't even compare, but is an alright choice if you're in the neighborhood... Much better than lace which is nearby.
