Slow in early evening

I stopped by the Furnace at around 6pm on a weekday afternoon. The club is very nice, but I was disappointed at how few dancers or customers were there at that time. The main stage went completely unused, and the 2-3 girls in the club were dancing on a small stage near the bar. I hung around for about an hour, and a few more girls filtered in during that time. One of the girls told me that all of the girls that dance there are required to dance an early shift once a week, so you have a pretty good shot of seeing some good talent, even in the afternoon and evening. I enjoyed chatting with a few dancers, and got a lap dance from a cute brunette who was playfully pushy. One thing that is a HUGE positive about this place is that it is a no smoking establishment. I hate going to clubs and leaving smelling like cigarettes, and the Furnace makes it possible to have fun at a club without worrying about the smell. I'm sure this is a result of a local law, but I wish more clubs would follow this example. I had a good time, and would return.
