Not as bad as I thought
So...I didn't expect this at all. I finally, after a disappointing visit to La Chambre, decided to hit up Chapeau Vert. I only did it out of pure curiosity, mostly due to some of the things I have heard and read on this website. I had this picture in my head of this nasty venue that had the lowest of lows when it comes to dancer quality, where they served warm beer and the bartender was older and bigger than myself. But I was wrong.
The layout is a little messed up. There is no private rooms or closets even, just an open area in the back with two couches that look a little beat up. That was the most unappealing part of the Vert. I walked in Saturday at about 12:30 and didn't pay a cover. I'm not sure if there was one or not, but I didn't pay one. I just walked in and took a seat. 5 dancers on shift, 4AA, 1 white. Immediately was attended to by the barmaid and bought myself and a buddy a bucket of beer for $20 ($10 cheaper than Penthouse). Two of the dancers were a 6 and lower, but the other three were solid 7s and and 8 easy. I only ended up tipping the three dancers for the rest of the night with the 8 paying me attention at 1:40, so not enough time to get a dance, but enough to learn that she'd be there next week. The girls were all younger than myself expect for one (I'm 30). All in all, i really can't complain. I didn't even end up going to Penthouse. It was a decent night.
