Changes at Spice Lounge

I decided to visit Spice Lounge for the first time since last November. There have been some fairly substantial change made for the better recently. The past year or so Spice had essentially become a black night club with guest bands and artists performing at the club on Fridays and weekends, and even occasionally on weeknights. Because of this white guys and quite frankly black men wanting a strip club experience have been shying away from the place as it had gotten away from being a strip club. The club's facebook page, which was it's main advertising vehicle, was focused almost entirely on promoting the night club and musical acts. The strip club had seemed to have disappeared. I recently noticed a complete change to the facebook page as it was completely scrubbed of all of this. I visited the club out of curiosity to see if anything had changed. The club is by no means a great strip club but I can report that at least as of now, Southern Maryland has an adult club again. The fee to get in the club was $20. When I walked my friend and I made our way to the smoker's patio and spoke with several of the dancers. One dancer, Diane, an attractive curvy Milf brunette, who indicated she is also one of the managers of the club advised us that the owner and decided to get rid of the nightclub/ rap/hip hop theme and go to a strip club only venue. Additionally, the club no longer sell liquor. Diane indicated the owner had voluntarily revoked his license. Charles County regulations do not allow for the selling of liquor and topless dances. As a result the club is now offering topless dances, well almost. I got a few dances from Diane, and she took her top off to reveal pasty's on her breasts. I had read of pasty clubs on this website before but this was the first time I had actually seen these. For all intents and purposes Diane was topless, just some little things covering up the nipples. I got to grab breasts and ass and she gave a decent, but not great dance in terms of the grinding. If getting off during a dance is your thing,this dance would not have done it. The dance prices are $20 for bikini, $30 for topless/pasty. A $10 house fee is now required to be paid prior to getting any dances and the fee must be paid with each dancer you take back for dances. That is crazy. They will need to get rid of that idea. There were two white dancers and about 6 black dancers there this night. They ranged from petite to curvy, and I'd say they ranged from 5 to 7's in looks, maybe a few 8's. DIane told me they are recruiting dancers and hope to get more girls into the club. Overall some very positive changes for Southern Maryland strip club mongers, as it is now an adult club again. White guys, it appears safe to come back. Same for you middle aged to older black dudes that wanted a strip club and not a hip hop party club. Southern Maryland has a strip club again, finally. Not saying this place is great, but at least we have something again. Now they just need to work on the fee structure and get rid of the house fee for dances.
