Main Stage

I stopped by Main Stage for the first visit and it may be my last visit. I arrived around 10:30 and there were only a half dozen cars in the parking lot. I entered the club and was impressed by the size and how clean it was……..then discovered why. There were no other customers. There were 6 dancers (4 white, 2 AA) sitting together playing with their phones and talking with each other….and who could blame them. There was no one for them to interact with and they were obviously bored. One of the AA dancers came over to start a conversation with me and when I asked if the life (or death) in the club was typical, she had a hard time answering the question, which I took as yes.

We chatted for a while, but there was no spark there at all. She asked if I wanted a dance, but I felt more like I was at a funeral than a club, so I declined. I asked her if it got busier later in the night and she was again hesitant in her answer which was again more of an answer than what she could have said.

After one drink ($8) I cut my loses and moved on.
