Friday afternoon before Memorial Day might have been dead, but in fact the place was quite busy. One of my regular dancers said she didn't know anyone though; none of her regulars were there besides me. That worked out well as she gave me her full attention for the couple hours I was there!

You can always have a good time at HB for not that much money. Drinks are dirt cheap and the food is free. They now charge a $10 cover even in the afternoon, but if you sign up for their spam list they cut you a deal. I always print out the on line coupon to get in for free. Just go to their web site. It was the typical stable of dancers: mostly pretty if plain girls who don't know all that much about dancing for money. The veterans are the way to go; they always give you your money's worth. If you can't tell by their demeanor how experienced they are, just ask how long they've been dancing. If it's less than a year, you probably want to pass unless you don't care about action. HB is a 'no extras' club so don't expect too much, but the skilled dancers make it worth your while.
