I dropped in to visit one...

I dropped in to visit one of my favorite clubs and they appeared to be scanning IDs. I didn't complete my visit.

Apparently they got into trouble with the OLCC for selling alcohol to minors. I first heard this from a dancer at another (non-affiliated) club. Then I tried visiting but I didn't want my ID scanned so I turned around and went to DV8. A dancer there (who also dances at their sister club Rose City Strip) told me they were checking but not scanning IDs. However, I saw them swiping someone's ID through a machine. So manbe it's a matter of terminology.

A quick internet search shows that the club was caught twice in the past couple of years or less selling alcohol to minors. So hopefully, they'll clean up their act and get back to normal. The quicker, the better.
