Back to the old haunt. Last visit was over a month ago so I was surprised at the number of new dancers (many 8's, 9's). Arrived around 10PM, $12 cover, and the place quickly filled up. Most booths and floor seating were occupied. Went upstairs to the bar and was quickly approached by ...a couple of thuggish looking dudes who said they were Pakistani. LOL. One guy said he was starting an investment fund, another said he was $20k in debt who tried to sell his camaro with 'lambo doors'. Gotta love the characters in the D. I caught the eye of an older dance, Amanda (35+/blonde/DD), who stopped by, so 'unfortunately' had to bid my farewells to the two homeboys. Proceeded to grab a drink with A, discussed prices, and off to the VIP booths we go. It was the first time I had come across the large booths in the back. Not the ones behind the upstairs bar, but to the right and past the 4-5 booths facing the railing, toward the dressing room area. These had full couches and a mirror against the wall. Also, music volume was lower given the location so it was easier to have a conversation. Incidentally, you could also hear the nearby booths too. At least one had two girls in there. The mirrors were nice touch if you're into that -- which I am -- good times. At this point, I was down $.5 (+drinks/cover) but the night was still young, so back to floor to catch all this new talent. The downside is too many of the new dancers are the upfront 'wanna dance?' type, to the point that they don't even bother giving you a name (Molly? Harmony?). Finally, caught my CF after her other regular left, who said she hadn't seen a 'good' night like this in a while and that things bold well for the MayPac fight on Sat. Hopefully, we'll see some reviews here and see if that was indeed the case. All in all, fun times at the PH and an upsurge in talent is promising.
