I visited Follies on both a Thursday and Friday during the afternoon and stayed until well into the evening. I found the experience on both days to be very similar.

Follies is definitely a happening club in the sense that I haven't been in a club that was this busy during the afternoons. I found that the club was quite busy during the afternoon but there would be a lull during the shift change (~8-10pm) before really picking up again at night. There are high top tables around the edge of the club which were always occupied. I still did manage to get dances, but these had to happen on either couches facing the stage or on a bench away from the stage. I did find some of the girls restrictive in their dancing since there was limited room for the girls to move on the couches where the dances happened. I would say the physical setup of the club was really the one drawback to Follies as it was difficult to find a place to get a dance (usually it would be that back sofa). There can sometimes be a wait to get served at the bar as well but nothing too extreme considering the crowds.

The quality of the girls ranged from 5.5 to 7.5 on the nights I visited, with a definite mix of girls. At $10 a dance, the value is pretty good. If there were more available places to get dances I would rate the club higher. I didn't do VIP on this visit, so I can't speak to that. I would say that I can certainly see the appeal of Follies and would recommend visiting if you find yourself in the area. It gets busy quick though so be prepared for a jam-packed club as early as 3pm (on some days even earlier apparently).
