Stopped by on a Saturday night...

Stopped by on a Saturday night with a few friends. Hadn't been to Shakers in close to a year and I have to say nothing has changed with this club. They have two stages but it appears that the side stage hasn't been used in quite some time as there were chairs staked on it and people were using the rail for seating. There were a couple of new girls from the last time I was there and they seemed to be friendly. Seems the days of the dancers mingling with the crowd is long gone. At least two of the dancers must have had regulars there as they never seemed to stray too far from their tables. Majority of the dancers headed to the dressing room as soon as they were off stage and when they came out they pretty much hung out by the dressing room door and the bouncer that sits close by. The overall attitude of the place kind of seemed like the dancers either didn't want to be there or just didn't care. If it wasn't the only place half-way close to home I would have a tough time going back. Best thing this club has going for it anymore is the lack of nearby options.
