First things first. Your GPS may bring this place up as being in WOODLAND PARK. A few years ago they changed the name of West Paterson to Woodland Park because they didn't want to be associated with the name Paterson......regardless....I read a majority of the reviews for this place and they SEEMED promising. I am pretty disappointed on how this trip went. I went during a Tuesday evening at about 9 oclock. The roads are kinda narrow so be careful. The building is extremely easy to miss as it looks like a regular house..... decent parking lot in the back. Entrance is on the side, do not go up the big stairs..... Went inside and the bar is square, the girls dance inside the center box behind the bar. There were about 7 guys there............with the exception of 1 guy, they all seemed to be regulars. 3 guys in regular work clothes, 2 playing pool, a businessman and a dude in the corner buying lots of shots. From what I saw there were a maximum of 5 girls working that night. One was on the arm of a regular, one was on the stage pretending to dance but she was really just interested in talking with another regular, the bartender (who in all the reviews everyone says is really cute. I AGREE! white american chick) and two chicks sitting at the end of the bar on their phones. I stayed for about an hour and a half, NOT A SINGLE GIRL CAME UP TO TO SAY HELLO, with the exception of the bartender who was supplying the beer. I wasn't the only one to experience this either. At least 3 other guys came in, all separately, and within 15 min. left because the girls were just so uninterested. They were very cute to loo at. But it's the first time i've had it feel like they just did not want my money......very odd. I don't wanna give up on the place yet, I feel like it has the chance to be better during the day or when the bread & butter isn't in attendance......maybe it's me.......maybe I just hit it on a very very VERY slow night.
