I finally had a chance to...

I finally had a chance to check out Woody's in CR on my way up to Northern Iowa. I stopped in on a Friday night in the early evening and it was pretty slow. I didn't stay very long, so not sure if got busier later in the evening. First thing to note is that the club is BYOB. I didn't realize that until i was already in the club so i had to watch everyone else enjoying their beers while i sat at an empty table. The club was about 1/3 full and it seemed that most of the patrons were regulars. The dancers were really friendly with most of them while pretty much ignoring my table. I picked out my favorite dancer and went to sit at the stage when she went up to dance. I got the occassional personal dance with beaver shot, but she spent most of the dance on the other side of the stage with 2 guys that she'd been sitting with earlier. Just not my night i guess.

Overall, the club is nice and each table has a sunken "tub" in the center for you put your BYOB on ice which is pretty cool. There was a private dance area, but i didn't talk to any of the dancers long enough to get the lowdown on how much it costs.
