Final thoughts first, this is a club in Virginia and judging it as a club in Virginia this club is pretty great. Compared to better clubs in other states though the Paper Moon leaves a lot to be desired.

The club is near Springfield Mall and sort of just looks like any other standalone restaurant you'd find around except this has the requisite blacked-out windows. The parking lot was decent-sized and well lit although I took a cab so I can't comment to much on that.

Once inside there is the standard hostess who charged my friend and I the cover fee that night which was $10, but I think that number changes based on the night/season/holiday and such. When we got inside the tables were probably a third full, so mostly empty really, but that was fine. We got a table near a stage, but not right next to one, and ordered some drinks.
