The Red Raven gets a mixed...

The Red Raven gets a mixed response when you mention it locally. That is why I wanted to review it. The layout is a bar with the two poles located behind the bar. Pool table located in the back of the bar. All seating located at the bar with maybe one table on the side. The majority of the dancers have great personalities and can hold a conversation. The normal bartender is super sweet, very smart, witty, and pretty. She could easily sell ice to an Eskimo. I've tried the food and it was good. No cover. Reasonable drink prices in line with local bars. Top shelf liquor possibly cheaper than some local bars.

I think the girls are very pretty but if you like the tall blonde well endowed type I think there is only one that I have noticed. A little something for everyone’s tastes; thick, skinny, in between, blonde hair, red hair, and black hair. I've seen some very beautiful women here but there is a fair amount of turnover. The private dance area is one of those curtained areas. I did not partake. Some girls have some skilled poll work but most do not. The dancers make the traditional lap around the bar after they dance for their tips. Regionally this seems to be the norm. They are not overly aggressive in asking for private dances. The dancers choose their music and if you are a fan of the band KORN you are in luck. You can come here and rock out to Korn several times a night. Some play some pretty obscure punk songs. Mostly modern rock and hip hop. It’s a decent mix overall of music and women.

The negatives, one small TV located on the back wall. Don't come here to watch the super bowl. There is a strange smell. Either they need new carpet or they need a plumber. At least get better ventilation. This smell is not covered up by perfume, lotions or cigarette smoke. I am not one bothered by smoke but there is a weird smell. The bathroom could be drastically improved because it is small and unnecessarily dark.
