What a difference a few years,...

What a difference a few years, ok 20 years, can make. We used to live in this part of the state in the 90's, and I'd drop into the MG for a drink and dance on occasion. Work had me spending the night in town, so I stopped in for a cold beer and hopefully a hot dance. The neighborhood was a bit sketchier, and the club was a bit divier, but the girls and action were way hotter than it was tonight. And after all isn't that why we go to clubs? Tonight there were 7-8 dancers, none rated higher than a 7 and a few weren't even worth a look let alone a drink or a dance. I enjoyed two cold, reasonably priced beers, tipped the bartenders, watched a few girls wander around looking for honey, and went back to my hotel. Guess this one is off my list and will head back to Anthony's the next time the boss schedules me out in Western MA.
