I recently moved to SW Mich for work and decided to check out some of the clubs in the area. So I ended up at PH on a Sat night with friends. The drive in was interesting to say the least, for those of us who are not locals.

We got in around 10pm and things were pretty slow -- couple of booths, couple of tables, handful at the bars -- but the girls were quality (7's, 8's, 9's). We were a sizable group, so they merged a couple of tables by the stage for us. Nothing was rushed and the girls were friendly and not pushy. We got our drinks, and a steady stream of ladies came to chat and make intro. I'm not sure if it's some girl-code but never more than 1 was with us, yet we were never left unattended. This was in contrast to my Vegas experience this past summer when I didn't even get to pour a drink before the hustling started. There's something to be said about a relaxed, midwestern pace.

As the night went on, the place was packing. More dancers (20-25), more people. The atmosphere was live. It was supposed to be their couple's night (I think), but unfortunately, didn't see any female patrons. Just an observation. Got my first dance from a light-skinned AA girl, and hate to say it, but was underwhelming. Girl was smoking hot but she wasn't into the dance or chit-chat. Makes sense since 20 minutes afterwards when I was outside taking a call, I see her as well waiting for a ride. Who leaves work when business is picking up? Each to our own, I suppose.
