Brown's, which is owned by the same people as The Horns (more of which anon), is another one of Shoreditch's Strip Pubs. The usual rules apply - you have to put your one pound in the pint jug before each dance, which I rather like (you get in for free, so in effect you pay for the time you're in the venue). It had a refurb about 18 months atom and is much, much smarter. The toilets, especially, are well worth a mention - very swanky and clean and wouldn't be out of place in a much swankier club.

As far as the girls go, I've only ever been in the afternoon, but there's usually five or six girls to a shift. The girls are friendly and will approach you, but they don't pester you. I think there's a good range, and the girls are mainly Brazilian, with some Eastern Europeans and the odd Brit to make up the numbers as required.

Private Dances take place in a nice area out the back and (in the afternoon at least) cost a tenner. It's a decent length of dance, although I should make it clear that there is, of course, no touching. There's also a VIP area, but I've never used that.
