I stopped into the KoD for the Saturday "anniversary celebration," mainly because I was curious about what it was going to entail. I had heard a lot of rumors and of course the website didn't give much details about what was involved. Well I had a nice time, but the celebration was certainly not much to crow about. A tribute to burlesque? The ladies were all wearing gowns, and every hour a different entertainer was christened a name similar to famous entertainers of old and gave a small show.

That's it? That's a 40th anniversary celebration?

Let's compare. Rick's had their 7th year anniversary and basically they had 3 nights of fabulous buffets and amazing drink specials. IMO, they really showed their appreciation for the customer base.
