So the Foxy Lady used to...

So the Foxy Lady used to be one of my favorite clubs in Columbus. I am comfortable in a club that isn't so big that you feel like you are ever missing any of the action but it isn't such a hole in the wall that you are jammed up against other patrons and the girls working. You come in, pay your $5 to 7 dollars (free if you are one of the only ones there) and have to buy a drink. No liquor as mentioned before, but you could probably get some from the girls if you were pressed. They ain't shy about getting customers buzzed if it will bring a few more tips. Stage is central in the club with seating areas all around, but as you walk in there are pool tables behind you if interested in a game. Lighting is fine, seating is comfortable but nothing about this spot says luxury. I doubt that if you are cmoing here that that would be a major concern. Overall, its somewhere around the a little below average as far as strip club venues go.

Now, the problem with the club has been the decrease in the girls working there with community government all but condemning the Fox and Carousel Lounge and doing their best to close up shop. Many of the girls have found other clubs (I dont know if I will switch to Luxx yet, new one that opened). It used to be plenty of girls in the 3 to 5 range out of 10. Then there would be about 5 or 6 girls anywhere in the 7 to 9 out of 10 range there that were really popular. My last visit was about a week and a half ago and as far as lookers go I think the best may have been a 7, and that would may be skewed because she was a great dancer. The quality and quantity has noticanly gone done, maybe it was due to it being a weekday but who knows. Anyway, the girls will aggresively approach about dances, but at the tables or on the stage as long as you throw a dollars they will show you love. The lap dances are in the back in visible booths for $20 a song. I wish there was more that I can say, but the trip was uneventful. I will still go back for the convenience and low-key vibe but I'm not sure how long the club will be dealing with the angry eye of the local politicians. A couple of violent crimes have been linked to the club but I have never seen or been apart of anything. This is definitely not Magic City, but you should be fine in the club if you keep to yourself. Most of the dudes are too concerned with the girls to worry about another customer, but there may be a few seedy characters. Overall, one of the better values in the city. But you get what you pay for.
