I was out and about one day recently and decided to check out Xcess. First off it is just down the street from the Tropicana Casino. SO it has a good location. Right nextt door is an adult bookstore. Other than that it is easily missed as Xcess itself has no clear signage. I should have known that this would not bode well for my visit. There was no cover for the day but there is a 2 drink minimum. On the left as you enter is the stage area. It is surrounded by many worn chairs with armrests that all face stage.

On this particular occasion there were only two dancers in the club both sitting at the bar and making no effort at conversation with anyone entering. There was one other patron in the club during my visit. It was about 5 minutes before one of the girls took the stage and began to perform. Nothing memorable. I tipped her but she never came by to check on me or offer any dance. I gave it about 20 more minutes after she left the stage to see if anyone else would perform. No one else took the stage. At that point I decided to cut my losses and go to the Pony, as I have had have enjoyed myself there. If in town take a pass on Xcess.
