Saturday night in Evansville

It has been a year since I was at the Pony in Evansville. I stopped in around 10 PM on the Saturday after Thanksgiving to break up a long drive.

The club is off a side road from the expressway that dead ends into an apartment complex. The parking lot is small, but it’s pretty well lit and it feels safe enough.

I went in, got frisked by the security guy, showed my ID, and paid the $20 cover. I don’t remember if they scanned my ID or not. The check-in desk also serves a sort of a “bar“ but it looked like all they serve was bottled water and sodas at $5 apiece.
