I hit Centerfolds Cabaret for the first time on a Wednesday around 11pm. The last time I was at this address was three years ago when it was Little Darlings, an all-ebony club owned by the Hustler outfit. Not much has changed other than a different owner and the fact that the club’s dancers are an even mix of black and white. There was no cover, but a bottle of beer was $10. As you walk in the door, there is a little bar to the right, but this is used to serve drinks to people on Bourbon Street through a window. You have to continue further into the club and go around to the right to find the bar that serves the inside. The bar is tiny and only has a couple stools. This is smallest strip club on Bourbon Street in terms of square footage. There is only one small, one-pole stage on the left side as you walk in. The lap dance area is all the way in the rear of the club. Lap dances are $40 each or 3/$100, standard pricing for the conglomerate that owns this club and four others on Bourbon Street. A VIP option is available, but I did not inquire on the price. Music was mostly hip hop. This strip club is pretty run down and could use a makeover.

As mentioned before, dancer ethnicity was a mix of black and white. I’d rate the dancers between a 4 and a 9 in looks. Most seemed content to talk among themselves or hang with regulars. I only got approached once in the thirty minutes I was at Centerfolds. The dancer who approached me had a decent body, but I was put off by the fact she was Caucasian, yet talked in Ebonics. There was a 9 in the house that I wanted to get my paws on, but she was locked down at a table of nonspenders, one possibly being her pimp/deadbeat.

I left after finishing my drink. I am not sure if I would return. The club is basically the same as Little Darlings, just different management and the addition of vanilla.
