It had been a couple years...

It had been a couple years since I've been to this place but I was by Route 40 in Baltimore and figured why not. Coming back from a rode trip at the end of a long weekend, it was a quiet Sunday night and convenient enough to just get off the highway. Depending on the direction you're coming on Route 40 you may have to make a U-turn to get inside but the sign is very visible and at night it's easy to navigate around. There's a convenience store a block away with an ATM that probably has lower fees than any you'd find in a club. Parking itself for the club is generally safe, fairly lit up and I never had a problem. Only once (and this was several years ago) I was approached by a streetwalker in the parking lot, but that never happened again. Inside the club it's more upscale, and they might have even remodeled recently. The cover is cheap (less than 10 dollars) but the dances themselves can get pricy - they're at least 30 dollars. There was an attractive blond who came up to me, but she really wanted me to buy her a drink before we got to business. There definitely was a pressure to keep spending. When we did a dance, it was okay, but geared to not quite satisfy me so that I'd want to keep going. I'd say it felt a little more mechanical than personal. But she was very good looking and I liked her on me, so I obliged. Still though, I could get a lot more elsewhere for the 80 bucks I dropped that night. The best thing about the club is that you'll generally see good looking, decent quality girls of a variety of backgrounds. The combination of that and a low cover makes it seems like the best thing in town - but once you're actually getting to the substance of why you're there, you'll end up spending a lot more than you thought in order to have a happy time. If you're willing to spend about $100, and you give in to the girl's requests, then you'll have an awesome time with a beautiful woman.
