I was visiting the Gold Coast...

I was visiting the Gold Coast and thought I had to see Hollywood Showgirls. It was Saturday night, early spring, and I had survived a thunderstorm that only Queensland can put on.

$20 entry (I arrived just before 10pm) and the place wasn't too busy. A few nice girls, and few really nice girls. Nothing short of 6 rating. Pretty happy so far. Got myself a $10 beer and took up a seat near the stage. Doesn't seem to be a big tipping culture here, so obviously the girls are making their money on lap dances in the private room out the back.

Finished my second drink and allowed myself to be talked into a lap dance by Kira, a german lady who seems to be a regular and feature dancer at Hollywood. I overheard another group of guys talking about her being their 'Facebook girl'. To be honest, her private show was ordinary. Her back was sun-burnt, and she didn't want to much touching. Nice enough girl, but not worth the money for the private show. BTW, prices are $60 for 10 mins, $90 for 20 minutes and $100 for 25 minutes. I didn't inquire on longer time prices.
