I had visited St. James earlier...

I had visited St. James earlier in the year with a client, and quite frankly had a less than stellar time. Nonetheless, I arrived in town earlier than I originally inspected, and finished my prep early for the next day. I called a friend who lives a bit west of town and suggested we visit St. James as it is on the north side, and he figured it unlikely he'd find a nosy neighbor. His wife is a sensible Texas woman who doesn't mind him going to a club occasionally, but also doesn't want him to advertise it. In any event we met at the club at 7:00 or so, and found the place fairly empty.

I thought this might portend well, but quickly GPS attitude was apparent, and so we left after about an hour. Truly, the club itself is upscale in furnishings and appearance, but the dancers unjustifiably think very highly of themselves. We probably dropped $$ between us in the time we were there between cover, drinks, etc. and one dance each. We ended up leaving and going elsewhere.

High point of the visit: Our waitress was outstanding, both in personality and efficiency.
