I was driving through the West Bank a week and a half ago and went to check out Joey’s Cabaret since nobody had reviewed it since December 2011. It turns out that Joey’s is gone, but a new strip club is opening in the same location. The new club is called Scores West according to the sign. Workers were in the process of remodeling the club when I stopped by.

The club is in a strip mall with a couple of other tenants, including a nail salon and a payday loan. The parking lot is very small, and parking could be tight if you have an SUV or pick-up truck. There is a Sam’s Club behind the strip mall, which would be a more optimal place to park if you don’t mind the short walk. Scores West will be the last remaining strip club on the West Bank and the last of two remaining clubs in Jefferson Parish. Pasties are required due to Jefferson Parish regulations.

I decided to call the club before submitting this review to see if they have opened. It turns out they have already opened and are operating, starting at 7pm daily.
