When in town on a recent...
When in town on a recent business trip, I stopped by this club having seen it listed on this site. The club location is in a very sketchy part of the crappy little town of Bossier City. I actually almost didn't go in, not wanting to leave my car in the parking lot. I finally did chance it, and just inside the door was a nicely-dressed gentleman who assured me that the lot is monitored and I would have no trouble with anyone bothering my vehicle. Relieved, I went into the club having paid a very reasonable door fee, and proceeded to assess the club by playing some pool. I should have been alerted to something being a bit off when I discovered that the pool tables (which were very worn) were set to require $2 per game. After getting eight quarters inserted and beginning to play, I started noticing the dancers. Probably ten or so that I saw, with at least half definitely being on the plus-size side of the scale, and lots of ink to boot. There were a couple of more fit looking dancers however, but even they were tattooed well beyond my preference level for body art. I finished my pool game, sat a couple of rows from the stage, a started to settle-in. there was a constant rotation of girls on stage, and the music and sound was ok, but the dancer quality was well below the quality of the stage and lighting. To my surprise, a fairly attractive older dancer (probably mid-thirties) appeared and sat down at my table. She was experienced, being able to hold a conversation and make me feel comfortable. I was actually beginning to consider checking out the VIP area with her. Then the waitress appeared and I ordered the dancer and my self a drink. Nothing special, just a shot for her and a V&T for me. When the waitress appeared with our drinks, she told me that it was $22!!! I about fell out of my chair. I paid her, and as I did, my dancer friend excused herself to go to the bathroom. I noticed that her shot didn't look much like the whiskey she had ordered. I smelled and then sipped her "shot" and it was cola. Needless to say, I was PISSED. I don't mind paying a premium for quality entertainment and liquor, but I also refuse to be ripped off. When my dancer returned, I told her that I didn't appreciate the scam being run on the drinks, mentioned that I had brought about $300 with me hoping to spend it all on some deserving entertainer, chugged my drink, and got up and walked out the door. My recommendation: Don't waste your time here unless getting ripped-off and looking at very average woman gives you a woody.
