Stopped by Club Downtown recently during the Jazz fest. This was my first strip club experience in Montreal and coming from the US I was pleasantly surprised. Door fee was reasonable and dances were just $10 only think somewhat overpriced were the drinks, but what can you expect. This club is upstairs and has a bit of a long narrow layout with the stage in the middle to the right. There weren't a ton of dancers this evening and the stage show was somewhat intermittent as a result. The Dancers that were there were super friendly and almost too polite. I sat at the bar for some time watching the show and/or TV and was only approached a few times from the 10 or so girls in the club. The good news is they were all fairly attractive and I was able to sample dances from several of the girls.

Dances are done upstairs from the stage in smaller semi-private booths and were for the most part excellent, topless only and quite enjoyable. I would say the dances were classic lap dances with clear instruction from each lady of what was not appropriate to touch. Only complaint from me was that these dances were done on somewhat uncomfortable plastic chairs that in no way fit two people well.

I would recommend this club and certainly the experience was good though I haven't tried much of the ample competition in town.
