This wasn't the first Portland strip...

This wasn't the first Portland strip club I've been to and it wasn't suggested by any of my local friends but as it was close to my hotel I had to make the trip this time. I was celebrating my birthday with three of my friends so we had a group. No cover charge is nice (common in Portland), right when we got in the ambiance was totally different then what I had seen other more divey clubs. One main walkway, another smaller more personal one to the side, a few private booths and a pretty large bar rounded the club out. There's a ton more space if you are used to the average Portland club, which led me to believe this was one of the more posh/less popular ones. Less popular seemed about right, for a Friday night there wasn't much of a crowd, plenty of girls but it wasn't packed (4 people at main stage, just us at the small stage, a handful at the tables and like 6 people at the bar). The drinks at the bar were decent, not super strong (I wasn't really looking for it as I was working a pretty good buzz already), beer selection is par for any Portland bar.

The girls were pretty good looking, most were tattooed, with the typical "natural" Portland look. A few of the dancers were very skilled on the poles and very hot. At the small stage good tippers got some GREAT attention from the performers. Private dances were $20 which is NOT posh strip club priced so that was a nice surprise. No touching on the main floor, and it's at the dancer's consent in the private booths, pretty typical. Talking to my buddies, most (including myself) were satisfied with the private dances, nothing over the top but they weren't ripping us off, lots of hot grinding and sometimes touching depending on the girl. As a group we got a decent amount of attention, especially after we started ordering private dances, with more girls coming later one. They were not super chatty but at least they were nice and weren't pushy or snobby.

It's not really a hidden gem as it's a super typical and not really outstanding club experience but if you want a strip club with the typical looking Portland stripper but with a more casual open vibe, this is the place to hit up. If you want divey and the TRUE Portland experience, another place would be better. I'd still go back here knowing all of that. Location wise, it's very convenient as well (next to Voodoo donuts).
