I have a love/hate relationship with...

I have a love/hate relationship with the club. Over the years, it has provided some of the best SC experiences I have ever had and some of the worst. This past Friday was one of the worst. I got the club around 4pm. $5 to park-this was new. Some new interior decorations have been made but basically the same old setup. I had read the club was under new ownership. The music was loud and all hip hop and rap. The DJ was obnoxious. The bartender was hustling as always. The Soda I ordered ( I don't drink alcohol) was more expensive ($5) and in a smaller glass than before. There were only 5 dancers working-none more than a 6. There were 2 white, 2 black and one "other". Stage dancing skills were about the same as the past. I had two of the dancers hit me up pretty quick for dances and immediately start the VIP sales pitch promising the usual more private, intimate experience. I just wasn't feeling a good vibe but the Bartender was cute and we carried on a decent conversation. Plus the traffic was awful so I stuck around to about 7pm. Got a few uninspired dances just to keep the appearance of spending some money. The girls coming in for the shift change appeared to be mostly black or heavy. I finally left and will probably not go back. Too bad-this used to be an outstanding club on the right day.
