I visited Taboo mid-afternoon, and there were 5 or 6 dancers about, but none of them particularly interested me. Two of them were obviously not interested in being there, and there is nothing more of a turn off than a bored or disgusted stripper. Finally, after a half-hour or so, a dancer that I half-liked came to the stage. Her moves were solid and she was very flirty at the rail. She offered me a dance after her set, and told me that she was the best in the club, guaranteed. That should have been a tip-off, but I was short on time and wanted a dance...in the private room she danced like she was on auto-pilot, no talking, no flirting, just rough bouncing up and down on my lap. Ugh. Not fun or sexy at all. I almost got up and walked out, but luckily for me, the 15 minutes I paid for were over in 10. I have never been so glad to have been ripped-off. As I was leaving, a truly attractive dancer was on stage, and I gave her my last few ones. If I hadn't just had the negative experience with the first dancer, I might have stayed for a private from the hot one. Oh well. I went a few miles down the road to the sister club of this one, Vixens, and had a great afternoon.
