I went to the Body Shoppe...

I went to the Body Shoppe on Wednesday evening ($10 / dance night). The place wasn't overly noisy and about one third of the tables were occupied. Drinks were only $4! There was a $5 cover charge, but an inebriated patron paid for me as he said I looked like an actor from "Jaws". My drink order came fairly quickly and the waitress was quite pleasant.<br>

I paid for dances with 3 different women. The first was Asia, cute, young african-canadian with a pleasant personality who proved that good things come in small packages - she was dynamite! The second was Samantha, a chunky white woman in her 30's who was not much of a dancer and best avoided. The third was Simone, a tall, thin african-canadian who almost as big a sourpuss as Samantha, but a much better dancer. I should have spent much more time with Asia and not wasted my time and money on the other two at all.<br>

Overall, it was a nice club that didn't seem to have any unsavoury characters but did have cheap drinks and dances. They even made a documentary about the place called (I believe) "The Manor".
