No more "dirty bird", the parrot...
No more "dirty bird", the parrot is hardly worth a stop even if you are driving by.
The layout is pretty basic: one large stage but with 3 levels of seating, a back area with a pool table, and a private dance area sectioned off for ld (3 couches) and champagne rooms(possibly 2 couches surrounded by plastic plants). The couches in the ld area are shot and wooden planks now support the cushions (and not very comfortably). The monitor sits in the ld area and when i was there one of the bouncers was taking a nap on one of the ld couches.
Drink prices are ok, but when it is busy you have to wait a while for the bartender.
Dances are overpriced at $25 (which is becoming the norm I fear). I will say that contact was pretty good from the 3 dances I had, but I was not comfortable with 2 sets of eyes on us. CR is around $200 but they advertise specials on CR on Mondays I believe.
Dancers are 4-6 at best: young girls just starting and older dancers living on borrowed time. Dancing skills are not worth discussing. With few exceptions amateurish would be the best adjective. The dancers don't seem to be thrilled working there, but it is likely the best that most can get.
