I made it into the Furnace...

I made it into the Furnace the first week it was open. It's just taken me a while to get around to posting. Good news and bad news. Good news: What an absolutely magnificent club. The decor and seating, everything is top notch. The main stage and staircase very much reminded me of the the good old days in Hotlanta at the Gold Club. The bad news: The quality of the girls on stage was well below what you would expect in a club as nice as this. I was very, very disappointed. I am headed back there this weekend. This will have given them a couple of months to get things going. I could only think and hope that after the long delays in opening up, that they were unable to supply the club with the quality of talent that it so richly deserves. Most of the girls were in the sub 4 range. It was not pretty. However, I absolutely think that if the management brings in the level of girls that this club warrants then the Furnace will be the new gold standard of clubs in Birmingham.
