Club Rouge can be hit or total miss. My most recent visit was around 8pm on a weekday night. There was no one on stage and no music. Why do you open if you have no dancers? Finally, one girl stripped for a set and then all the action stopped again. At least they don't charge a cover for this crap. And, at least the one girl was nice looking. My first trip was far better, so my rating reflects a blend of the two visits. The $20 lap dances are just off the stage in a separate room. You're not supposed to touch, but you might get away with it depending on the girl. They push you to go upstairs for a nude dance with touching for $100+. The dances are good friction though. An interesting and unique aspect of this club is they have a second stage that has the appearance of a jail cell. This area is for the dancers that haven't yet reached the age of 21. Club Rouge is worth a visit if you're in Portland and it's in a less intimidating part of downtown. When they have girls, they are above average looking. If you have to ask if they're open or not, don't waste your time.
