I have seen some recent reviews of how the remolded club has gone down hill. I disagree. The remodeling was a nice face lift and the club itself has hired some new girls. Some of them are better than others which is the same at any club. I personally like that some older fake bottomed dancers where not in attendance, then again this was a Monday night, so maybe the butt implant circus still exists on weekends. :-) Anyway this particular Monday, April 7th, there was 70% AA girls and 30 white. No big deal to me. The staff was friendly, the beers were cold and even the bouncers/ floor-man came by to say hello. I have no issues in this club. Now for the girls: You must pick the "right one" and the test for that is simply conversation. This club requires a little bit more social skills from the customers to truly enjoy it. Unlike one of my favorites (Follies) which is all primal lust and nothing else. I sometimes like the art of dialogue. If you can establish a rapport with a good looking dancer there is much more fun to be had beyond the surface. This will never be a blatant high mileage club, but I have managed some awesome dances from dancers who I knew were putting themselves at risk by being so awesome. I think they danced that good for me because of at least a half hour of talking prior to the dances. I was never forced to buy anyone a large amount of drinks by talking either. I like the place and will return. Just remember, bring a positive attitude and some social skills. If less talk and all grind is what you like, then Follies is your place, but this was good especially for a Monday night.
